Kimberlee is a lifelong resident of Knoxville, Tennessee. She enjoyed a creative childhood in a large family where arts and crafts were always an outlet for extra energy. As a teenager, Kimberlee began to believe that she could use her skills and passions in the arts to make a career. A favorite teacher, artist Shannon Johnson, encouraged and inspired Kimberlee as she studied painting and drawing in high school. She completed further study at Pellissippi State before setting out to market her own art through a business she started in 2020. In 2023, Kimberlee began painting and learning further techniques with the Little River Artists’ group. She now balances her life as a young mother as she continues to build her body of work. She is inspired by family, faith and the beauty of the natural region in which she lives.
